CAUSE EFFECTS OF GLOBAL WARMING

There are two main heat distributors throughout the world that are suffering cause effects of global warming, the arctic and the ocean. The arctic is known as the heat pump and the currents in the ocean are known as the conveyor belt. The artic is melting rapidly and is going to impact people and life throughout the world.

The cause effects of global warming with the arctic melting is actually speeding up global warming. This is because the arctic plays a major role in blocking heat from the sun. When the sun radiates on the earth, the ice bounces the heat back toward space and prevents the sun from heating the surface of the earth. As the artic melts, the artic unable to deflect as much heat from the sun also. This is helping the artic melt even faster. Open waters and bare soils absorb the heat rather than deflect it because they are not as bright as ice and snow.

The arctic melt means that the cause effects of global warming will be substantial. Polar bears, penguins, and other animals that are dependent on the cooler weather and atmosphere will become extinct to the earth. The artic melt will change the ocean’s circulation of currents and put Europe into an era of freezing and other parts of the world into desert lands. Cities along the coastlines with major populations of people will no longer exist because the waters will eventually consume the cities with the rising oceanic levels.

The cause effects of global warming are already happening. We are already seeing the ice melt and it is estimated that the Greenland ice sheet will be melted within the next 20 years. The retreat of the world’s glaciers have already shown enormous amounts of fresh water dumped into the ocean. Ocean levels have risen substantially and they will continue to rise. Soon the ocean’s currents will be changing.

The cause effects of global warming will be disastrous if we do not play our part in slowing down the carbon dioxide that we are emitting into the air. We need to save the lives of the animals, plants, and marine life that are already suffering and dying off due to the problem.
